Pick Up Orders (Scanner)

The Supply’d scanner speeds up pick-up orders by ensuring quick, accurate item verification. It reduces errors, improves inventory tracking, and enhances customer satisfaction.

Using a Supply’d handheld scanner for pickup orders makes the process quicker, easier, and more accurate. Instead of manually checking items, you can scan products as you pick them to ensure the right items and quantities are collected. This reduces mistakes, saves time, and updates your orders in real time so everything stays accurate and ready for the customer.



Using a Scanner for Pick Up Orders

Customer Notification

After a pick-up order has been picked and packed (see Pick & Pack (Scanner)), it will automatically be marked as , and the customer will be notified.

The link in the notification opens the pick-up details and displays a QR code.


Using the Scanner at Pickup

Select Pick-up Order

When the customer presents the QR code, open Supply'd on the scanner. Select Pick-up Order from the Scanner menu.

The Pick Up Order screen will appear.

Select the Location

Choose the location the order will be picked up from using the drop-down menu.

Click Start

The Scanner - Order Pick-up screen will show, flashing red to indicate it's ready to scan.

Scan the Order

You can either scan the customer's QR code or search for it manually. Scanning is the quickest and easiest method.

Scanning

To scan the item, point the scanner at the QR code and press either of the scanner buttons on the side.

Manual Search

Searching manually is useful if the code doesn't scan, the customer doesn't have the QR code or the QR code is damaged. To search manually, in the Search Orders field, start to type the person's or company's name, or the order number and a list of matching orders will show for you to select from.

The order will be colour-code tagged as .

Locate & Scan the Order

Locate the order and scan the pick-up label(s). (Or manually enter the quantity of cartons/parcels picked up.)

Hand the Order to the Customer

Hand the customer the order, and click the button.

You will be asked to confirm that you would like to mark the order as Completed.

Clicking the (Mark as Completed) button will mark the order as .
