Editing & Removing Products (Supply'd Lite)

Editing products in Supply’d Lite helps you keep your product details accurate and up to date, making ordering easier and more reliable.

Editing products in Supply’d Lite is simple and helps keep your supplier information accurate. You can update names, barcodes, prices, sizes, and other details to ensure everything is correct for ordering.

This doc will take youm through:


Editing Products

Select the Supplier

Select Suppliers from the main menu, then click on the supplier whose product you want to edit.

The supplier's page will open.

Go to the Products Tab

Click on the Products tab to see the list of this supplier's products.

Select the Product

Click on the product that you would like to edit.

The product's page will open showing all the product's details, such as the brand, price, barcode etc.

Select Edit Product

Click on the 3 dots in the top right and select Edit Product from the menu.

The Edit Product form will open.

Update the Details

Make any changes needed following the guidelines for Adding Supplier Products (Supply'd Lite).

Click Save

Click to apply your changes.


Bulk Editing Products

Bulk editing in Supply’d Lite makes it easy to update multiple products at once. It saves time by letting you change things like price or category for multiple items all together, instead of one by one.

Select the Supplier

As above, select Suppliers from the main menu, then click on the supplier whose product you want to edit.

Go to the Products Tab

Click on the Products tab to see the list of this supplier's products.

Select the Products

Tick the checkboxes next to the products you would like to edit.

The button will stay grey until you select at least one product. Once selected, it turns blue and you can click it - .

Choose Bulk Edit

Click on the button and choose Bulk Edit from the menu.

The Bulk Edit Products form will appear.

Complete the sections as per the guidelines below:

Product Details

Brand

The brand of this product. If the brand isn't changing then leave as "No Change".

Name

The name of the product.

Category

The category you would like to group these products under. Select from the list that will show when you click on or type in the field.

Size

The weight/size of a single unit.

In our example, our unicorns are changing from 20g to 25g, so we enter "25" in the Size field and select "Grams" as the unit.

Tags

Any of our predefined tags that may be applicable to this product. In this example, the recipe for our chocolate unicorns has changed, and they are now gluten-free and nut-free, so we can select those tags.

Carton Size (cm)

The cubic dimensions of this product in cm when shipped.

Carton Weight (kg)

The weight of this product in kg when shipped.

Food Products Details

Ignore the Food Products Details section as this is not included in the product details in Supply'd Lite.

Buy Settings

Buy Product

Whether or not you buy this product.

Purchase By

Whether you buy by the unit (single item) or a carton. If "Carton" is selected an additional field will appear.

Purchase QTY* [required field]

How many units in a carton when purchasing.

This field will only show when "Carton" is selected in the Purchase By field.

Buy Price (Ex Tax)

The wholesale price for a unit or carton, excluding GST.

Buy Tax

Choose if GST applies to this product when buying it. Pick either "GST" or "GST Free" from the drop-down menu.

Brand: The brand of the product.

Size

The weight/size of a single unit.

Sell Settings

Ignore the Sell Settings section as this is not included in the product details in Supply'd Lite.

Click Save

Click to finish editing the products.


Removing Products

There are 2 ways to remove products in Supply'd Lite:


Removing Products One at a Time

As above, select Suppliers from the main menu, then click on the supplier whose product you want to edit.

Click on the Products tab to see the list of this supplier's products. Click on the product that you would like to remove.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right and select Remove Product.

You will be asked to confirm.

Click . Click on the product that you would like to edit.


Removing Products Using the Actions Button

Products can be removed one at a time or in bulk using the button.

As above, select Suppliers from the main menu, then click on the supplier whose product you want to remove.

Click on the Products tab to see the list of this supplier's products. Click on the product(s) that you would like to remove.

Click on the button and choose Remove from the menu.

  • From Supplier: Will remove the from that particular supplier. If you have several suppliers for the same product it will still be available on the other suppliers' product list.

  • Products: Will remove the product from all suppliers.

You will be asked to confirm.
