Bulk Editing Products
Bulk Editing Products in Supply’d saves time by letting you update multiple product details at once - like prices, suppliers, or categories - making product management faster and more efficient.
In Supply’d, you can edit products individually as outlined in Adding & Updating Products, but if you need to update multiple products with the same changes - such as price, supplier, category, or availability - you can use the Bulk Edit feature. This allows you to apply consistent changes across a range of items all at once, saving time and reducing the chance of errors.
This document will guide you through bulk editing of products.
Select the Products
Tick the boxes next to the products you want to update.
Use the Filter Products form (click on 
in the top right corner) to narrow the list by specific criteria if you want to perform actions on matching products.
For example, all our Chocolate Unicorns require updates, so if we type "Unicorn" in the Name field of the Filter Products form, only the unicorns will show on the product list.
Ticking the square beside the 
button will select all products on the list.
Choose Bulk Edit
Click on the 
button and select Bulk Edit.
The 
button stays greyed out and inactive until at least one product is selected. After selecting products, the button turns blue and becomes clickable.
The Bulk Edit Products form will open.
To open or close the sections on this form, click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).
Complete the sections as per the guidelines below:
Only update the fields that need changes; leave any unchanged fields set to "No Change."
Product Details
The details about this product such as name, size, images, description etc.
Brand
Enter the brand of this product. If there is no brand, you can use your business name.
If the brand doesn’t need to be changed, leave the field as No Change.
Name
Enter the name of the product.
Category
Select the category you would like to group these products under.
Size
Enter the weight/size of a single unit. Leave blank to ignore.
In our example, our unicorns are changing from 20g to 25g, so we enter "25" in the Size field and select "Grams" as the unit.
Tags
Select any predefined tags that may be applicable to this product.
In this example, the recipe for our chocolate unicorns has changed, and they are now gluten-free and nut-free, so we can select those tags.
Carton Size (cm)
Enter the cubic dimensions of this product in cm when shipped.
Carton Weight (kg)
Enter the weight of this product in kg when shipped.
Food Product Details
Relevant details for food products such as ingredients, nutrition, storage type and more.
Country of Manufacture
Select the country the product was made in.
Ingredients
Enter any ingredients contained in this product.
In this example, the recipe for our chocolate unicorns has changed, so we would add the ingredients in this field.
Allergens - Contains
Enter any change in allergens that are present in this product, separated by a comma (eg. "dairy, nuts"). Don't include leading statements such as "Contains".
Allergens - May Contain
Enter any allergens that may be present in this product, separated by a comma. Don't include leading statements such as "May contain". Leave blank if not applicable.
Storage Type
Select the type of storage required (eg. ambient, refrigerated etc.).
Shelf Life
This field allows you to provide guidance on the shelf life of a product.
Enter the number then select Days, Months or Years, whichever is applicable.
Sell Settings
The settings for products you sell.
Price (inc tax)* [required]
Enter the default sale price for a carton/unit of this product. This is used in place of each sales channel's price if they are left blank.
In our example, due to our unicorns increasing in size, our price is increasing from $1.50 to $1.75. We would enter "$1.75" in this field.
Sale Price (inc tax)
If this product is on sale, enter the sale price here.
Tax
Select whether or not tax (eg. GST) is applicable to this product when selling.
Pack In Carton
Select whether or not this item should be packed in a shipping carton when shipped.
If Yes, the item would be packed in an aggregated shipping carton during packing.
If No, the item would ship as is with no additional cartons.
Unit RRP (inc tax)
Enter the recommended retail price for stockist to sell a unit of this product at.
Sell Product
Select whether or not you sell this product from a supplier.
Sell on Supply'd - "Supply'd Store Name"
Select whether or not you’d like to sell this product in your Supply’d store, where “Supply’d Store Name” reflects the name you’ve chosen for your store.
If you have more than one store, a field will be shown for each one. If you don’t have any stores set up, this field will not show.
The following fields will depend on which third-party platforms you’ve integrated with your Supply’d account. Only those platforms will be shown.
Sell on "Integration Name"
For each listed integration, select whether or not to sync this product to the integration.
