Bulk Editing Products
Bulk Editing Products in Supply’d saves time by letting you update multiple product details at once - like prices, suppliers, or categories - making product management faster and more efficient.
In Supply’d, you can edit products individually as outlined in Managing Customers, but if you need to update multiple products with the same changes - such as price, supplier, category, or availability - you can use the Bulk Edit feature. This allows you to apply consistent changes across a range of items all at once, saving time and reducing the chance of errors.
This document will guide you through bulk editing of products.
Select the Products
Tick the boxes next to the products you want to update in your product list.
Use the Filter Products form (click on 
in the top right corner) to narrow the list by specific criteria if you want to perform actions on matching products. For example, all our Chocolate Unicorns require updates, so if we type "Unicorn" in the Name field of the Filter Products form, only the unicorns will show on the product list.
Ticking the square beside the ACTIONS button will select all products on the list.
Choose Bulk Edit
Click on the 
button and a menu will open. Select Bulk Edit.
The 
button stays greyed out and inactive until at least one product is selected. After selecting products, the button turns blue and becomes clickable.
The Bulk Edit Products form will open.
To open or close the sections on this form, click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).
Complete the fields as per the guidelines below:
Only update the fields that need changes; leave any unchanged fields set to "No Change."
Product Details
The details about this product such as name, size, images, description etc.
Brand
The brand of this product. If there is no brand name you can put your business name. If the brand isn't changing then leave as "No Change".
Name
The name of the product.
Category
The category you would like to group these products under. Select from the list that will show when you click on or type in the field.
Size
The weight/size of a single unit. For apparel items use variable product option below.
In our example, our unicorns are changing from 20g to 25g, so we enter "25" in the Size field and select "Grams" as the unit.
Tags
Any of our predefined tags that may be applicable to this product.
In this example, the recipe for our chocolate unicorns has changed, and they are now gluten-free and nut-free, so we can select those tags.
Carton Size (cm)
The cubic dimensions of this product in cm when shipped.
Carton Weight (kg)
The weight of this product in kg when shipped.
Food Product Details
Relevant details for food products such as ingredients, nutrition, storage type and more.
Country of Manufacture
The country the product was made in. Select from the drop-down menu.
Ingredients
Any ingredients contained in this product.
In this example, the recipe for our chocolate unicorns has changed, so we would add the ingredients in this field.
Allergens - Contains
Allergens that are present in this product. Enter the allergens only, separated by a comma. (eg. "dairy, nuts".) Don't include leading statements such as "Contains".
Allergens - May Contain
Allergens that may be present in this product. Enter the allergens only, separated by a comma. Don't include leading statements such as "May contain". Leave blank if not applicable.
Storage Type
Select the type of storage required from the drop-down selection. (eg. ambient, refrigerated etc.)
Shelf Life
Suitable for food products, this field allows you to provide guidance on the shelf life of a product. Enter the number then select Days, Months or Years from the drop-down, whichever is applicable.
Sell Settings
The settings for products you sell.
Price (inc tax)* [required]
The default sale price for a carton/unit of this product. This is used in place of each sales channels price if they are left blank.
In our example, due to our unicorns increasing in size, our price is increasing from $1.50 to $1.75. We would enter "$1.75" in this field.
Sale Price (inc tax)
If this product is on sale, enter the sale price here.
Tax
Select whether or not GST is applicable to this product when selling. Leave on No Change or select GST or GST Free from the drop-down menu.
Pack In Carton
Whether or not this item should be packed in a shipping carton when shipped. If this has changed, select Yes or No from the drop-down menu. If Yes, the item would be packed in an aggregated shipping carton during packing. If No, the item would ship as is with no additional cartons.
Price (inc tax)* [required]

Sell Product
Whether or not you sell this product as a supplier.
Unit RRP (inc tax)
The recommended retail price for stockist to sell a unit of this product at.
Visibility
Whether or not the product should be available in the marketplace. Select from the drop-down menu.
Assign To Customer
Specify any customers who can see and buy this product. Only customers that you select can order this product. The customer must have already be your customer or have been invited to Supply'd.

Requires Liquor Licence
Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu. If Yes the customer will be required to provide their liquor licence.
Restrict By Shipping Zones
If this product is only available in certain shipping zones, you can select the available zones here. Leave blank for availability in all zones. Clicking on, or typing in, the field will bring up a list of your Shipping Zones.
Sell on Supply'd
Whether or not you'd like to sell this product on Supply'd. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Sell on Shopify
Whether or not to sync this product to Shopify. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Sell on Square
Whether or not to sync this product to Square. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Sell on Ordermentum
Whether or not to sync this product to Ordementum. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Sell on WooCommerce
Whether or not to sync this product to WooCommerce. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Sell on Wedderburn
Whether or not to sync this product to Wedderburn. Leave on No Change or select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
