Customer Specific Pricing

Customer-specific pricing lets you set discounts for customers or groups, applying negotiated rates to select products.

Customer-specific pricing allows you to set unique prices for individual customers or customer groups, giving you flexibility to tailor deals, reward loyalty, or meet contract requirements. Instead of applying the same standard price list to everyone, you can assign special rates that automatically apply when that customer places an order. This makes managing agreements simple, reduces manual adjustments, and ensures accuracy at checkout.

This document will guide you through:


Adding Customer Specific Pricing to an Individual Customer

Go to the Customers Page

Select Customers from the main menu. The Customers page will open, showing a list of all your customers.

Select the Customer

Select the customer you want to set specific pricing for.

The selected customer’s page will open, displaying all of their details.

Open the Pricing Tab

Click Add Pricing

Click , or Add + in the top right corner.

The Add Customer Pricing form will open.

The button will only appear if the customer does not already have specific pricing set.

Complete the Add Customer Form

Complete the fields as per the guidelines below:


Adjustment

The amount to apply as an adjustment.

Adjustment Type* [required]

The type of discount you would like to apply.

  • Discount %: Discount by a percentage amount, eg. 10% off.

  • Discount $: Discount by a fixed dollar amount, e.g. $5 off.

  • Increase %: Increase by a percentage amount, eg. 10% increase.

  • Increase $: Increase by a fixed dollar amount, eg. $5 increase.

  • Price Override: Override the price to a new price, eg. $9.90.

Discount % / Discount $ / Increase % / Increase $ / Price Override

This field will depend on what is selected in the Adjustment Type field. Enter either the percentage or dollar amount for the decrease or increase in pricing, or a specific price for an item when Price Override is selected.


Apply Adjustment

Where to apply the adjustment.

Apply Adjustment To* [required]

Whether you would like to apply the adjustment on all products or just select products for this customer. Select either All Products or Select Products from the drop-down menu.

The next two fields will appear when Select Products is selected.

Categories

The categories you would like to apply the discount to. Leave blank to not apply to any categories. Clicking or typing in the field will bring up a list of your categories to select from.

Products

The specific products you would like to apply the discount to. Clicking or typing in the field will bring up a list of your products to select from.

Save

Click the button to add the pricing for this customer.

The Customer Specific Pricing will be listed under the customer’s Pricing tab.


Adding Customer Specific Pricing to a Customer Group

To apply customer specific pricing to a group of customers select Customers from the main menu, then click the Groups tab to see the list of your Customer Groups. Select the group you would like to apply the specific pricing to.

Go to the Pricing tab and click or Add +.

The Add Customer Pricing form will open. Complete the form as per the guidelines above for Adding Customer Specific Pricing to an Individual Customer .


Editing Customer Specific Pricing

To edit a price or discount, select Customers from the main menu, then click on the customer and go to the Pricing tab. Click on the discount you would like to edit.

The Edit Customer Pricing form will appear.

Change any details required, as per the guidelines for adding the pricing.


Editing Customer Specific Pricing for Groups

To edit a price or discount for a customer group, select Customers from the main menu, go to the Groups tab, and click on the group.

Go to the Pricing tab. Click on the discount you would like to edit.

The Edit Customer Pricing form will open.

Change any details required, as per the guidelines for adding the pricing.


Removing Customer Specific Pricing

To remove a discount, follow the Editing Customer Specific Pricing instructions above to open the Edit Customer Pricing form. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner. Select Remove Pricing.

You will be asked to confirm.


Removing Customer Specific Pricing for Groups

To remove a discount, follow the Editing Customer Specific Pricing for Groups instructions above to open the Edit Customer Pricing form. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner. Select Remove Pricing.
