Product Details

These are all the details about this product such as name, size, images, description etc.

Brand

The brand of this product. If there is no brand name you can put the Supplier's business name instead. Clicking on the field will up a list to select from or you can type your own.

For example, we're adding "Unicorn Chocolates - White Chocolate Unicorn", the brand is "Unicorn Chocolates".

Name* [required field]

The name of the product. Since brand and size go in other fields, you can leave them out of the name.

For example, for our unicorn chocolate, just enter "White Chocolate Unicorn" as the name.

Size

Enter the weight or size of one unit. Leave it blank if not needed.

For example, our unicorns weigh 25g each, enter “25” and choose “Grams” from the menu. This helps provide clear and accurate information to your customers.

SKU

The SKU is a unique code for the product. Each product must have its own SKU.

Category* [required field]

This sets the category for the product on your supplier profile. Supply’d lets you create your own categories to group products however you like. Click or type in the field to choose one.

For example, for the chocolate unicorn, you might choose "Chocolate" or "Confectionery" depending on how you organise your products.

Unit Barcode

The barcode on a single unit of this product.

Carton Barcode

The barcode on the carton of this product (if different to the unit barcode).

Product Images

You can upload product images to Supply’d. A square PNG with a transparent background (at least 640x640px) is best, but JPGs are also accepted.

Description

Allows you to enter a detailed description of the product. For example, you may include any allergen information and/or ingredients as well as descriptive details of the product.

Creating Products Using the Duplicate Products Function

Adding products in Supply’d Lite is quick and efficient using the Duplicate Products function. This feature lets you copy an existing product’s details, so you only need to make small changes instead of entering everything from scratch. It’s ideal for adding similar products with different sizes, flavours, or variations.

For example, we need to add pink and blue chocolate unicorn products for our supplier Unicorn Chocolates. The brand, size, and price are the same as the White Chocolate Unicorn we just added. Using the Duplicate Product feature will save time by copying all the details - we will only need to update the name, image, SKU, and barcode.

Here's how:

1

Select the Supplier

From the main menu, go to Suppliers and select the supplier whose product you want to duplicate.

2

Select the Product

Go to the Products tab to see the list of the supplier's products and select the product you would like to duplicate.

The product page will open, displaying all the details like brand, price, barcode, etc.

3

Select "Duplicate Product"

Clicking on the three dots in the top right will open a menu. Choose Duplicate Product.

The Add Product form will open with the details from the product you copied.

4

Change Details

Simply update what's needed, like the name, image, SKU, barcode and description.

5

Click Save

Click to create your new product. The product will appear on the Supplier's Product list.
