Bulk Editing Products (Supply'd Hub)

Bulk editing products in Supply’d Hub lets you update multiple products at once, saving time, improving consistency, and reducing the need for manual changes.

Bulk editing in Supply’d Hub allows you to update multiple products at the same time, making product management faster and more efficient. Instead of editing products individually, you can apply changes across selected products in a single action. This helps save time, maintain consistency, and simplify the management of your product catalogue.

This document will guide you through bulk editing of products.

Go to the Products Page

Select Products from the main menu. The Products page will open, showing a list of all your products.

Select the Products

Tick the boxes next to the products you want to update.

You can use the Filter Products form (click on in the top right corner) to narrow the list by specific criteria if you want to perform actions on matching products.

For example, if all our unicorn products require updates, we would type "Unicorn" in the Name field of the Filter Products form, and only the unicorns will show on the product list.

Ticking the square beside the button will select all products on the list.

The button stays greyed out and inactive until at least one product is selected. After selecting products, the button turns blue and becomes clickable.

Choose Bulk Edit

Click on the button and select Bulk Edit.

The Bulk Edit Products form will open.

To open or close the sections on this form, click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).

Complete the sections as per the guidelines below:

Only update the fields that need changes; leave any unchanged fields set to "No Change."

Product Details

The details about this product such as name, size, images, description etc.

Brand

Enter the brand of this product. If there is no brand, you can use your business name.

If the brand doesn’t need to be changed, leave the field as No Change.

Name

Enter the name of the product.

Category

Select the category you would like to group these products under.

Size

Enter the weight/size of a single unit. Leave blank to ignore.

In our example, if we had products that were changing from 20g to 25g, we would enter "25" in the Size field and select "Grams" as the unit.

Tags

Select any predefined tags that may be applicable to this product.

For example, if your facility becomes officially nut-free, you could add a Nut-Free tag to the selected products.

Carton Size (cm)

Enter the cubic dimensions of this product in cm when shipped.

Carton Weight (kg)

Enter the weight of this product in kg when shipped.

Food Product Details

Relevant details for food products such as ingredients, nutrition, storage type and more.

Country of Manufacture

Select the country the product was made in.

Ingredients

Enter any ingredients contained in this product.

In this example, if a recipe for your products changed, you would add the ingredients in this field.

Allergens - Contains

Enter any change in allergens that are present in this product, separated by a comma (eg. "dairy, nuts"). Don't include leading statements such as "Contains".

Allergens - May Contain

Enter any allergens that may be present in this product, separated by a comma. Don't include leading statements such as "May contain". Leave blank if not applicable.

Storage Type

Select the type of storage required (eg. ambient, refrigerated etc.).

Shelf Life

This field allows you to provide guidance on the shelf life of a product.

Enter the number then select Days, Months or Years, whichever is applicable.

Sell Settings

The settings for products you sell.

Price (inc tax)* [required]

Enter the default sale price for a carton/unit of this product. This is used in place of each sales channel's price if they are left blank.

For example, if the price of a product is increasing from $2.00 to $2.50, enter $2.50 in this field.

Sale Price (inc tax)

If the products are on sale, enter the sale price here.

Tax

Select whether or not tax (eg. GST) is applicable to this product when selling.

Pack In Carton

Select whether or not this item should be packed in a shipping carton when shipped.

  • If Yes, the item would be packed in an aggregated shipping carton during packing.

  • If No, the item would ship as is with no additional cartons.

Unit RRP (inc tax)

Enter the recommended retail price for stockist to sell a unit of this product at.

Sell Product

Select whether or not you sell this product from a supplier.

Sell on Supply'd - "Supply'd Store Name"

Select whether or not you’d like to sell this product in your Supply’d store, where “Supply’d Store Name” reflects your account name.

Save

Click to finish editing the product.
