Copy of Connecting to Customers (Supply'd Hub)

Manage all your active customers for sales, marketing, and order tracking. View contact details, call history, and account activity in one place.

The Customers page in Supply’d Hub helps you manage all your active customer relationships in one place. You can view customer details, track account activity, and access contact and call history to support sales, communication, and order management. Keeping customer information organised in Supply’d Hub helps improve visibility, streamline follow-ups, and support efficient day-to-day operations.

This document will guide you through adding customers, including:


The Customers Page

Selecting Customers from the main menu will show you a list of all your customers, when they placed their last order with you in Supply'd, and their current status.

You will see 3 tabs on the page.

Customers

The Customers tab lists all your customers. You can manage all your active customers for sales, marketing, and order tracking, and view contact details, call history, and account activity in one central place.

Connect

The Connect tab lists all businesses available to connect with on Supply’d. From here, you can send connection requests to start building trading relationships.

Requests

See all customer connection requests that are awaiting your approval, allowing you to quickly manage new customer relationships and grant access as needed.

Adding a Customer

Go to the Customers Page

Select Customers from the main menu. The Customers page will open. If you have already added or connected to customers, they will appear in the Customers list.

Click Add +

To add a new customer, click or the Add + in the top right.

The button will only appear when no customers have been added. To add additional customers, use the Add+ button.

The Add Customer form will appear.

Complete the fields as per the guidelines below:

Company Details

Company Name* [required field]

Enter the trading name of your customer's business.

Company Logo

Upload the customer's company logo.

It is recommended to use a PNG image with a transparent background. Square images work best if available at least 500px wide. Wider images can be used as well. JPG images are also accepted.

ABN

Add the customer's company ABN.

Website

Enter the customer's company/business website address. If they don't have a website you can use a Facebook or Instagram URL.

Address

The customer's address details.

Billing Address

Enter the customer's street address for billing.

Billing Suburb

Enter the customer's suburb for billing.

Billing State/Province

Enter the customer's state for billing.

Billing Postcode

Enter the customer's postcode for billing.

Billing Country

Select the customer's country for billing.

Contact

The primary contact details for the customer.

First Name

Enter the first name of a representative/contact for the customer's business/company.

Last Name

Add the last name/surname of a representative/contact for the customer's business/company.

Role/Department

Enter the contact’s role or department (eg. Store Manager, Accounts).

Email

Enter a contact email for the customer.

Mobile

Add a contact mobile phone number for the customer.

Phone

Add a contact phone number for the customer.

Settings

Additional settings for the customer.

Payment Terms

This defines the payment terms applied to the customer’s invoices. Leave blank to use the default terms set in your Supplier Settings.

Enter the number of days and then select one of the following:

  • Days: The number of days after the invoice date that payment is due.

  • Days EOM: Payment is due a set number of days after the EOM (end of the month) in which the invoice was issued.

  • Days EOW: Payment is due a set number of days after the EOW (end of the week) in which the invoice was issued.

  • Pre-paid: The payment must be made in advance, before the goods are delivered.

Credit Limit

Enter the maximum amount this customer can have on unpaid invoices. Leave blank to not apply a credit limit.

Notes

Add any internal notes about this customer. These are for internal use only and are not visible to the customer.

Advanced: Order Alert & Invoice Template

Order Alert

Add an internal alert to show when creating an order for this customer. This alert is not visible to customers.

Save

Click to save all the customer's details.

The new customer will show in the Customers list.


Connect

The Connect tab lists all businesses available to connect with on Supply’d.

Clicking on a name allows you to view all their information.

Click if you would to send a connection request to them. You will be asked to confirm.

The customer will need to accept your connection request before you can begin dealing with them.


Requests

The Requests tab lists all customer connection requests that are awaiting your approval, allowing you to quickly manage new customer relationships and grant access as needed.

Clicking on the customer’s name will open a page with their details and allow you to either approve or reject them.

You will be asked to confirm.

Once approved, the customer will appear in the list under the Customers tab.
