Supplier Promotions
Supply’d Promotions allow you to accept & manage special offers from your suppliers. These promotions may include discounted pricing, buy-one-get-one offers, bonus stock, & other incentives.
The Supplier Promotions page provides a central location for managing promotional offers from your suppliers. From here, you can view available promotions, review offer details and eligibility, accept or decline promotions, and monitor active, upcoming, or expired offers. Managing supplier promotions in one place helps ensure eligible products are promoted correctly and allows you to take full advantage of supplier-funded offers.
This doc will guide you through the Promotions process, including:
The Promotions Page
The Promotions page displays all current and upcoming promotions available from your suppliers. From here, you can view promotion details, including the products included, promotional pricing, supplier, and the promotion start and end dates. This page makes it easy to find supplier offers and take advantage of promotional pricing when placing orders.
To view the suppliers Promotions page, select Suppliers from the main menu and go to the Promotions tab.

To view a specific supplier's promotions, select Suppliers from the main menu, choose the supplier, then open the Promotions tab on the supplier's page.

Supplier Promotion Details
Clicking on a promotion will display all available details, including the promotion settings, products, pricing, dates, and other relevant information.

Supplier promotions are displayed throughout Supply’d, including on the Product page, Favourites page, when creating a Purchase Order, and during Expense Reconciliation. Promotional products are identified by a green promotion badge beneath the product name, which also displays the promotion dates. This helps you take advantage of available promotions when ordering and verify that your supplier has honoured the promotional pricing during expense reconciliation.

Complete the form as follows:

Adjustment

Adjustment Type* [required field]
Select how the promotion discount will be applied. Depending on the option selected, additional fields will be displayed to configure the promotion.

Price Override: Override the price to a new price, eg. $9.90.

Increase $: Increase by a fixed dollar amount, eg. $5 increase.

Increase %: Increase by a percentage amount, eg. 10% increase.

Discount $: Discount by a fixed dollar amount, eg. $5 off.

Discount %: Discount by a percentage amount, eg. 10% off..

Buy X Save Y%: Enter the percentage discount that you receive when you purchase the required quantity of eligible items.
For example, a Buy 3, Save 10% promotion applies a 10% discount when the Minimum Qty is set to 3 and the you purchase three qualifying items.

Buy X Save Y% is a quantity-based promotion where you receive a percentage discount after purchasing a specified number of qualifying items.
Examples:
Buy 2, Save 10%: Purchase any two eligible products and receive 10% off those items.
Buy 3, Save 20%: Purchase three qualifying items and receive a 20% discount.
Buy 6, Save 15%: Purchase six eligible products and save 15% on the qualifying items.

BOGO (Buy one, get one): Enter the number of qualifying items required (Minimum Qty) and the number of free items to award (Gifted Qty). For example, if Minimum Qty is 2 and Gifted Qty is 1, you will receive 1 free item when you purchase 2 qualifying items.

BOGO (Buy One, Get One) is a promotional offer where purchasing a qualifying product entitles the you to receive another product at a discount or for free.
Examples:
Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO): Buy one loaf of bread and receive a second loaf free.
Buy Two, Get One Free: Buy two qualifying items and receive a third item free.
Best Practice: It is best to order the total quantity you expect to receive, including any free items. For example, with a Buy 10, Get 10 Free promotion, you should order 20 items, rather than ordering 10 and expecting an additional 10 to be added later.
This helps ensure your order is processed correctly and reduces the risk of missing free items.
This also helps during Purchase Order Receiving, where you'll receive the full quantity (20 items in this example), and during Expense Reconciliation, where the full quantity is displayed at the discounted price.

Apply Adjustment

Apply Adjustment To* [required field]
Select whether the promotion should apply to All Products or only Specific Products, Specific Categories, or Specific Brands.

Depending on the option selected, additional fields will be displayed as follows:

All Products: Applies the promotion to all products you buy from this supplier.

Products: Applies the promotion only to the selected products chosen from your supplier's product list.

Categories: Applies the promotion to all products within selected product categories.

Brands: Applies the promotion to products from selected brands.

Start Date
Select the date the promotion starts. Leave this field blank to make the promotion active immediately.

End Date
Select the date on which the promotion ends. Leave this field blank to keep the promotion running indefinitely.

Promotions are applied after any Customer Specific Pricing. If you have a special price set for a product, the promotion will stack on top of that price rather than the standard product price.
Example: If a product normally costs $12.00, but you have a special price of $10.00, and you create a Buy 10, Get 10 Free promotion, the promotion will be calculated using the special price. This means the effective price becomes $5.00 per item, not $6.00 based on the standard price.
