# Adding Price Changes in Bulk

Bulk price changes save time, reduce manual updates, and help ensure pricing is applied consistently and accurately across multiple products.

**Supply’d** allows you to apply price changes to multiple products at once using a specific CSV spreadsheet template, making it easier to manage large numbers of pricing updates efficiently. Instead of updating each product individually, you can prepare the required changes in a CSV file and import them in bulk.

Bulk price changes are useful for managing planned price increases, decreases, promotions, or other pricing updates across multiple products and sales channels.

{% hint style="success" %}
👉 Price changes can also be added individually from a product’s page. See the [Adding a Price Change](/supplyd-erp/products/product-price-changes/adding-a-price-change.md) document for details on how to do this.
{% endhint %}

The following steps will guide you through the process:

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** The Pricing CSV works differently from most other bulk imports in Supply’d. When importing products or other data, a blank field means the field will be imported as empty. If the field already contains a value in Supply’d, that existing value will be cleared when the CSV is imported. For **Price Changes**, a blank field means **leave the existing value unchanged**.

This is because the CSV allows you to update both the **Price** and **Sale Price** at the same time. For example, you may want to add or change a sale price without changing the product’s standard price, or update the standard price while keeping the current sale price.

* **Leave blank** – The existing price remains unchanged.
* **Enter `$0`** – Resets that price to the default/no value.
* **Enter an amount** – Updates the price to the specified amount.

For example, if a product currently has a **Sale Price** and you want to remove it, enter **`$0`** in the Sale Price column. Do not leave the field blank, as a blank field will leave the current Sale Price unchanged.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.supplyd.co/supplyd-erp/products/product-price-changes/adding-price-changes-in-bulk.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
