# Placing Offers
Offers in Supply’d make it easy to showcase selected products with special offer pricing, helping increase sales and strengthen customer relationships.
**Offers** in Supply’d provide a simple way to showcase selected products with special offer pricing. You can send offers to individual customers or groups and highlight new or featured products from one place. This helps increase product visibility, encourage customers to range additional products and drive sales.
Customers can easily browse and range available offers, while you, as a supplier, can track performance and manage offers from a central location. This makes **Offers** a simple and powerful tool for growing sales and building stronger customer relationships.

While offers are commonly used by retailers purchasing products for resale, they can also be used by other businesses. For example, a supplier may send an offer to a manufacturer for ingredients or materials used in their production process.

If you have a large number of products to offer to customers, you can use the **Bulk Actions** feature to create offers for multiple products and customers at once, making it quick and easy to manage larger offers.

## Placing an Offer
Offers in Supply’d help suppliers showcase selected products to connected retailers and active buyers.
To receive an offer, the customer must be a Supply’d user with an accepted connection to the supplier. Suppliers can send offers to highlight specific products with special offer pricing and encourage customers to range them. Customers can review and accept these offers directly through Supply’d.
Ranged products become available to order through Supply’d, with purchases recorded as standard sales orders in the supplier’s account. This provides a simple way for suppliers to increase product visibility, attract new business and develop ongoing customer relationships.

Offers can only be sent to customers using a **Supply’d ERP** account. Customers using **Supply’d Lite** cannot receive offers.

In the example below, we've introduced a new product - the **Rainbow Unicorn Cupcake** - and would like to let our customers know about it and offer it to them.

#### Enable Placing Product Offers
To be able to send offers to customers, you need to first enable it in the **Place Product Offers To Customers** field in the [Company Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/company-settings.md#company-setting) section of your [Company Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/company-settings.md).

#### Open the Products Page
Select **Products** from the main menu to view a list of all your products. Then select the product you would like to offer. The product's details page will open.

#### Toggle On Sell on Supply'd
Click the 3 dots in the top right of the product's page and select **Edit Product** to open the **Edit Product** form.
Scroll to the **Sell Product** section and ensure it is toggled on before sending the offer
Click to apply any changes.

#### Click Offer to Customers
Click .
The **Create Offer** form will open.

#### Select the Store
Select the store this offer is coming from.

#### Select the Customer(s)
Type or click in the **Customers** field to view a list of your customers, then select the customers you would like to send the offer to.

#### Add Additional Products
You can choose additional products to add to this offer.
1. Click in the field that says "**Type Product Name**" and begin typing the product to bring up a list of matching products.
2. Select the product.
3. Click to add it to the offer.
4. Repeat for any other products you would like to include in the offer.

You can remove a product from an offer by clicking the “**X**” to the right of the product.

#### Add Notes
The **Notes** section of the **Offers** form allows you to add any additional information or context about the offer for your customers. This could include details such as a product highlights or special pricing. Any text entered here will be visible to customers as part of the offer.

#### Click Review
Click .
The **Review Offer** form will open, listing the product(s) to be offered, the product price(s), and customer(s) the offer will be sent to, and allow you to customise the offer for each individual customer.

#### Adjust Pricing & Edit Notes
**Discount**
The **Discount** fields allow you to set either a percentage (%) or dollar ($) discount for that particular customer. Select **%** or **$** from the first field, then enter the applicable percentage or dollar amount in the second field. The discounted price will be calculated automatically.

Any [Customer Specific Pricing](/supplyd-erp/customers/customer-specific-pricing.md) will be automatically applied to these fields. This can be edited should you wish to make changes.

**Price**
The **Price** field shows the final price after the discount has been applied, helping you confirm what customers will actually pay.

Alternatively, you can enter a price here and the system will automatically calculate the discount percentage or dollar amount for you.

**Notes**
The **Notes** field lets you edit the text you added in Step 5, tailoring it to be individual and specific for each customer.

#### Click Send Offer
Click to send the offer to the customer.

If you try to send an offer to a customer you’ve already sent one to, you will receive a warning. You can still proceed and send the offer again, if desired.

### What Happens Next ?

#### The Customer Receives an Email
Once you send the offer, the customer will receive an email with a link to review and respond to the offer.
The offer will also appear on their **Products** page under the **Offers** tab, where they can click and choose how they would like to respond or whether they would like to range or reject the product. The choices are:
* **Awaiting Feedback:** The product has been offered and is awaiting feedback or a decision from the recipient.
* **Awaiting Samples:** Samples have been requested or are expected before a decision can be made on the product offer.
* **Ranged:** The product offer has been accepted and added to the recipient's product range.
* **Rejected:** The product offer has been declined and will not be ranged.
They also have the option to include a message with their response.

#### The Customer Responds
When the customer responds you will receive an email with that response.

If the customer selects **Ranged** the product will be added to their **Products** list and they can start ordering it from you.

#### You Respond
When you select an offered product from your **Products** list, the product's details page will display the customers you have sent offers to and the current status for that offer.

Offer statuses are colour-coded for easy identification:
* - The offer has been sent and is waiting for the customer to review and respond.
* - The customer has requested additional information or feedback before deciding whether to range the product.
* - The customer has requested product samples for evaluation.
* - The customer has accepted the product and added it to their product range, making it available for ordering.
* - The customer has decided not to range the product at this time.
* - The offer has been withdrawn and is no longer active or available for the customer to respond to.

Click on the customer to open the offer details.
On this page, you can view the customer's response, including any message they may have provided, and send a reply. You can continue to exchange messages in this way until the customer decides to range or reject the offered product.
Any messages will appear here as a record of your correspondence.
