# Printing Product Labels
Printing product labels directly from the product page provides a quick and convenient way to generate labels using the product’s existing information.
You can print labels directly from a product’s page in **Supply’d**, making it quick and convenient to generate labels for individual products. The labels use the product information already stored in Supply’d, helping ensure the correct details are included and reducing the need to manually enter product information.

### Printing Product Labels

#### Select the Product
1. Select **Products** from the main menu to view your list of products.
2. Select the product you want to print a label for.

Use the search feature in the top right to quickly find the product you are looking for.\

#### Select Download > Label
Click the 3 dots in the top right, then select **Download > Label**.
The **Print Label** form will open, allowing you to generate and print labels for the selected product.

To open or close the **Customisation** section on this form, click the small arrow to the right of the section, as circled in red above.

Complete the fields following the guidelines below:

#### Label & Print Details
**Template\* \[required field]**
Select the template to use when generating the label. Choose a **Custom** label if you have created a custom label template, or select a **System** label to use one of the standard templates provided by Supply’d.

**Batch**
Select the batch code you want to include on the product labels. Leave the field set to **None** if you do not want to include a batch code on the labels.

A **batch code** is a unique code used to identify a specific batch or production run of a product. It can help with stock traceability, allowing you to identify when or where a product was produced or received and to distinguish it from other batches of the same product.

**Action**
Select whether you want to download the labels as a PDF or print them directly from a Supply’d scanner.
**Printer**
Select the printer you want to use to print the product labels. The available printers will depend on the printers that have been connected and configured in your **Supply’d** account.
If no printer is selected, you can choose to generate the labels as a **PDF** instead, depending on the option selected in the **Actions** field.

**Copies\* \[required field]**
Enter the number of copies of the label you want to print.
**Sales Channel**
Select the sales channel to use when printing the product label. The selected sales channel determines which carton quantity and pricing data are used on the label.

#### Customisation
Complete this section if you want to include additional information on the label. If left blank, the label will include only the **product name and barcode**.
For **price labels**, the **product name, price, and barcode** will be included by default.
**Font\* \[required field]**
Select the font you want to use for the label text.
**Barcode**
Select the barcode type you want to use on the label. Leave the field set to **None** if you do not want to print a barcode.
**Logo**
Select the logo you want to display on the label. Leave the field set to **None** if you do not want to include a logo on the label.

**Custom Text**
Enter any custom text you want to include on the label. The maximum length is 20 characters.

#### Click Print
Click to generate the label for printing or downloading.

Whether the label is printed directly or generated as a PDF depends on the option selected in the **Actions** field above.

### Examples
Supply’d provides different label types for displaying the product information you need. The label type you choose determines which information is included on the label.
Below are just a few examples of the different labels you can print in Supply’d.
**Product Label**
A general-purpose label that typically displays the product name and barcode. This is useful for identifying products and managing stock.

**Price Label**
A **Price Label** typically includes the product name, price, and barcode, making it useful for clearly displaying pricing information alongside product details.

**Food Label**
A label designed for food products and can include information such as the **p**roduct name, ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, and other relevant product details. The information displayed will depend on the selected label template and the [Labelling Details](/supplyd-erp/products/adding-products/labelling-details.md) entered for the product.

**Batch Label**
A label that includes batch information to help identify and trace a specific batch of a product. This can be useful for stock management and traceability.
The QR Code can be scanned using a Supply’d handheld scanner to quickly access the **Stock Feed** information and view batch details for the product.
