# Managing a Product
Keeping product information accurate & up to date helps improve efficiency, reduce errors, & ensure products are correctly managed across stock, pricing, sales, & connected channels.
Managing a product in **Supply’d** allows you to keep its information accurate, organised, and up to date. From the product's page, you can view and edit product details, manage stock, pricing, labels, attachments, and other product settings.
Keeping product information current helps ensure accurate inventory, consistent product details, and reliable information across purchasing, sales, and connected sales channels.

## The Products Page
The **Products** page provides a central place to view, search, filter, and manage all products in **Supply’d**. From this page, you can quickly find products, view their details, and access actions for managing your product list.

Clicking a product opens that product's page, where you can view all the product’s details. From this page, you can access a range of options to view, update, and manage the product.

To access the available product management options, click the 3 dots in the top right.

### Edit Product
Selecting **Edit Product** opens the **Edit Product** form, where you can view and update the product’s details as needed.

### Duplicate Product
The **Duplicate Product** function lets you copy an existing product’s details, saving time when adding similar products with different sizes, flavours, or variations.
For example, to add a **Dairy-Free Blue Chocolate Unicorn**, we can duplicate the existing **Blue Chocolate Unicorn** and only update the name, SKU, barcode, description, and ingredients.

### Manage Stock
The **Manage Stock** option allows you to record and manage stock information for the product, including stock quantities, locations, use-by dates, and batch details. This provides a central place to keep track of the product’s stock and its associated information.

### Download

The options available under **Download** will vary depending on the product type. **Production** and **Recipe** products include an additional option to download a **Recipe Sheet**.\

#### Label
This option opens the **Print Label** page, where you can generate and print labels for the product.

#### Spec Sheet
This option allows you to download the product’s **Spec Sheet**, which provides detailed product information for reference, sharing, or printing.

#### Recipe Sheet
This option allows you to download the product’s **Recipe Sheet**, which provides detailed recipe information, including ingredients and preparation details, for reference, sharing, printing, or use during production.

### Actions

#### Attach File
Allows you to attach a file to the product record. This can be useful for storing supporting documents or product information alongside the product, making it easy to access relevant files when viewing or managing the product.
**File Type**
Select the type of file you want to attach to the product.
**Upload File**
To attach a file to this product, click on and select the file you wish to upload from your device.
Any files attached to the product will appear under **Attachments** on the product page, where they can be accessed when viewing or managing the product.

The **Attachments** section will only be visible if there are files attached to the product.

#### Recalculate Sales
If the sales data on the left-hand side of the product's page becomes inaccurate or out of sync, select this option to refresh and recalculate the data.
You will be asked to confirm before the data is refreshed.

You generally do not need to use **Recalculate Sales** as part of your regular workflow. This option is only required if you notice mismatches or inconsistencies in your sales data, which may occasionally occur due to system delays or temporary issues.
If you notice that the sales figures do not appear correct, select **Recalculate Sales** to refresh and recalculate the sales data.

#### Discontinue Product
This option lets you mark a product as discontinued, keeping it in the system for history and reference. Once discontinued, the product will no longer be available for orders in Supply’d, helping prevent accidental reordering.
You will be asked to confirm.

Discontinued products can be **re-ranged** by selecting **Actions > Range** from the menu or by clicking the **Re-range Product** link at the top of the product’s page.

### View

The available options in the menu will vary depending on whether the product is purchased, sold, used in production, or has a pricing schedule.

#### Pricing Schedule
Opens the **Pricing Schedule** page where you can view and manage all pricing information for a product in Supply’d.
**Status**
Select whether you want to view **Future** or **Past** pricing.\

**Sales Channel**
Select whether you want to view pricing for **All Sales Channels** or a specific sales channel.\
\

#### Recent Sales
This displays a list of recent sales orders for this product.
**Fulfilment Status**
Select whether you want to view orders by their fulfilment status - **All**, **Unfulfilled**, or **Fulfilled**.
**Pick Location**
Select a **Pick Location** to view orders grouped by where they are being picked.
Clicking on an order will open its details.

#### Recent Purchases
This option will display a list of recent purchase orders for the product.
**Fulfilment Status**
Select whether you want to view orders by their fulfilment status - **All**, **On Order**, or **Received**.
**Location**
Select a **Location** to view orders grouped by their location.
Clicking an order will open its details.

#### Stock Feed
Opens the Stockfeed page for this product, where you can view stock levels, inventory updates, and related activity.

#### Related Recipes
Displays a list of recipes or bundles that include this product.

This option will only show if the product is used in any related recipes.

In the example above, the Pink Chocolate Unicorn is included in the 3-Pack Chocolate Unicorns bundle. Clicking on the product will open its details page.

#### Stats
Selecting this option opens the **Product Stats** page, providing a detailed overview of the product’s pricing, stock levels, and sales performance.

#### Changelog
This option opens a log of all changes made to the product. The **Changelog** also shows how each change was made, displayed in the smaller text beneath the change, such as product edit, expense reconciliation, or bulk import.
Hover over a change to open a table showing the details of the update.

### Remove Product
Will remove the product.

## Editing a Product
If you would like to edit a product's details:

Select **Products** from the main menu.

Choose the product you would like to edit. The product's page will open.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner and select **Edit Product**.
The **Edit Product** form will open. This form has the same fields as the **Add Product** form.

## Removing a Product
If you would like to remove a product:

Choose the product you want to remove.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right and select **Remove Product**.

You will be asked to confirm.

If the product is currently used in any **production**, **recipes** or **bundles**, a warning will appear before you can remove it: **Removing this product will also remove it from those recipes.**
Review this warning carefully before continuing, as removing the product may affect any recipes or bundles that rely on it. Removing the product will also remove its associated product record from those recipes or bundles.
