# Bulk Actions for Products
Using Bulk Actions saves time and reduces repetitive tasks by allowing you to efficiently manage and update multiple products at once.
The **Bulk Action Options** on the **Products** page allow you to perform actions on multiple products at once, helping you manage product information more efficiently. By selecting multiple products, you can apply available actions in bulk rather than updating each product individually, saving time and reducing repetitive tasks.
This document explains how to use the **Bulk Action Options** on the **Products** page to manage and update multiple products at once.

## Accessing the Actions Menu

#### Go to the Products Page
Select **Products** from the main menu. The **Products** page will open, showing a list of all your products.

#### Select the Products
Select the checkbox next to each product you want to perform a bulk action on.

Use the **Filter Products** form (click on in the top right corner) to narrow the list by specific criteria if you want to perform actions on matching products.
For example, all our Chocolate Unicorns require updates, so if we type "Unicorn" in the **Name** field of the **Filter Products** form, only the unicorns will show on the product list.

The button stays greyed out and inactive until at least one product is selected. After selecting products, the button turns blue and becomes clickable.

Ticking the square beside the button will select all products on the list. \

#### Click Actions
Click on the button to open the available actions menu.

### Edit
Select **Edit** to open the **Bulk Edit Products** form. This allows you to apply the same changes to multiple selected products at once, such as updating pricing, supplier, category, availability, and other product details.
Using **Bulk Edit** saves time, ensures information is updated consistently, and reduces the need to edit each product individually.

### Assign Tags
Select **Assign Tags** to apply one or more tags to multiple selected products at once. This allows you to quickly categorise and organise products without updating each product individually. Tags can then be used to filter, group, and manage products more efficiently.
**Tags**
Select the department(s) you would like to add or replace existing ones with.
**Actions**
Choose how the tags are applied to the selected products.
* **Add** - The selected tags are added to the products, leaving any existing product tags still there.
* **Replace** - The product tags will be replaced with what's selected here.
Click to apply your selections.

### Assign Departments
Select **Assign Departments** to apply or update departments for multiple selected products at once. This helps you organise products into the correct departments without editing each product individually, making your catalogue easier to filter, structure, and manage.
**Departments**
Select the department(s) you would like to add or replace existing ones with.
**Actions**
Choose how the **Departments** are applied to the selected products.
* **Add** - The selected departments are added to the products, leaving any existing product tags still there.
* **Replace** - The product departments will be replaced with what has been selected here.
Click to apply your selections.

## Create Offer
Select **Create Offer** to create offers for multiple selected products at once. This is useful when you have a large number of products you would like to offer to customers, saving time by creating the offers in bulk rather than individually.

The **Create Offer** option will only show if you have selected "**Yes**" in the **Place Product Offers To Customers** field in the [Company Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/company-settings.md#company-setting) section of your [Company Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/company-settings.md).

## Export Products
Select **Export Products** to export the details of the selected products to a spreadsheet. This allows you to easily review, save, or work with product information outside of Supply’d.

### Product Label
Select **Product Label** to open the **Print Label** page, where you can generate and print labels for the selected products.

### Shelf Tickets
Select **Shelf Tickets** to open the **Print Product Tickets** form, where you can generate and print shelf tickets for the selected products.

## Remove Products
Select **Remove Products** to remove the selected products from your product list. You will be asked to confirm the action before the products are removed.

If any of the selected products are used in a **Production**, **Recipe**, or **Bundled** products, a warning will appear. Removing these products will also remove them from any recipes or bundled products they are currently used in.\
