# Adding a Nutrition Field
Adding Nutrition Fields helps you capture more detailed nutritional information, ensuring product labels provide accurate and relevant information for your products.
Adding a **Nutrition Field** in Supply’d allows you to record additional nutritional values that are relevant to your products. Custom nutrition fields can be added when the standard nutritional fields do not include the information you need, helping you create a more complete and accurate **Nutrition Information** panel for product labelling.

Adding an additional nutrient is first enabled in **Product Settings**, then the nutrient can be added when completing the **Nutrition Information** for a product.

## Adding a Nutrient Field in Product Settings

#### Go to Settings
Click on your company name in the top right and select **Settings**.

#### Select Product Settings
Select **Product Settings** from the **Settings** menu.
The **Product Settings** form will open.

To open or close the sections on this form click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).

Complete the sections as per the guidelines below:

#### Complete the Nutritional Info Section
**Nutrient Name**
Select the **Nutrient Name** you want to add to the product’s nutritional information. This determines which nutrient will be recorded and displayed as an additional value in the **Nutrition Info**.
**Daily Intake**
Enter the recommended **Daily Intake** value for the nutrient. This value can be used to calculate how much a serving of the product contributes towards the recommended daily intake of that nutrient.
Click to add another nutrient, then complete the required details. Repeat this process for each additional nutrient you want to include.

## Adding a Nutrient to a Product
If you have any additional **Nutrient Field(s)** a button will show in the **Nutrition Information** section of **Labelling Details** when adding or editing a product. This allows you to select the additional nutrient and record its nutritional value for the product.

Select or type in the field to find the nutrient you want to add.

The nutrient will be added to the **Nutritional Table**, where you can enter the relevant value.\
