
Performing Deliveries as a Driver
Supply'd's Delivery module helps drivers manage deliveries with route optimisation, real-time updates, and delivery tracking, ensuring timely and efficient service.
As a driver, you will have only have access to delivery runs, and the deliveries within those runs, assigned to you on Supply'd.
Deliveries are usually done using a handheld Supply’d scanner. This guide will walk you through how to perform deliveries using a tablet or how to check them in the app on a computer.
This document you will guide you through:
Home Page
After logging into Supply'd you will see this screen. The only main menu choice is Home.
There will be 2 tabs - Up Next and Completed (as circled in red).
The Up Next tab lists any upcoming delivery runs that have been assigned to you. The Completed Tab shows any completed delivery runs that were assigned to you.
Details on these pages are:
Run Number: An identifying number assigned to this specific delivery run.
Date: The date the delivery run is to be made.
Vehicle: The vehicle to be used for this delivery run.
Driver: You.
Delivered: Whether or not the delivery has been delivered.
Clicking on a run will bring up a list of deliveries and a map of all the deliveries in that run.
Any breaks will also be included in the list of deliveries.
Clicking on an order will bring up the delivery address for the order, plus a map showing the customer's delivery location.

At the top of the page you will see 2 buttons - Directions and Arrived.
Clicking Directions will bring up detailed directions to the delivery address as well as the best route to take and the estimated time the route will take.
Starting & Completing a Run
When you are ready to start a delivery run, select the run you will be performing and click Start Run.

. The delivery run lists' statuses are colour coded for easy identification.

Once confirmed, the first order delivery details will show, as described above.


When a delivery run includes multiple orders for the same location, they will be merged into a single stop on the route plan and in the driver’s delivery workflow. Any actions taken at that stop - such as updating the status as arrived, delivered, failed etc, or adding proof of delivery - will apply to all orders associated with that location.

Go to the First Address
Once you have arrived at the delivery address, click the
button.



You will be asked to confirm.



If a vehicle has been set as Refrigerated or Frozen in the Cooling Type field under the Vehicles tab in Delivery Settings, a “vehicle temperature” field must be completed during delivery runs for orders with cartons. If you attempt to scan a carton without entering this temperature, an error will appear prompting you to complete the field first.

Add Proof of Delivery
Once confirmed, the below page will show. Click

The Delivery Order POD form will show.



Add the name of the person receiving the order and ask for a signature. Click

The status on the delivery list will change to
.

Failed Deliveries
If for any reason the order was unable to be delivered, click
. The Delivery Order Failed form will appear.


Reason* [required field]
Select the reason the delivery failed.
If none of the reasons on the list are applicable, select Other (last in the list).



Additional Notes
Add any notes that may be relevant.

Additional Options - Delivery Run Page
Clicking on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner will bring up a menu with the following options. This menu will vary depending on the page you are on as well as other varying factors and you may see all or some of those menu options listed below.
Start Run
An alternative to the
button, selecting this option will start the delivery run.
Edit Run
Selecting this opens the Edit Delivery Run form, allowing limited changes to be made to the delivery run.
Vehicle
Change the vehicle being used for the delivery run.
Driver
Change the driver for the delivery run.
Start Location
Change the start location for the delivery run. Select from the drop-down or add a custom address, for example, if the driver is leaving from home.
End Location
Change the end location for the delivery run. Select from the drop-down or add a custom address, for example, if the driver is ending from home.
Click
to apply your changes.
Download > Delivery Run List

Allows the Delivery Run List to be downloaded for viewing, saving or printing.

Toggle Full Screen
This option will allow the page will be shown in full screen.
Remove Run
Will remove the delivery run from your list. You will be asked to confirm.

Additional Options - Orders

Edit Delivery Order
Selecting this will open the Edit Delivery Order form, allowing limited changes to be made to the delivery order.

Notes
Add any delivery notes for the driver about this order.
Delivery Address
Change the delivery address from the address on the original order. Fields marked with an asterix (*) are required fields and must be completed.
Delivery Window
Change the delivery window start and end times.
Mark As > Arrived / Delivered / Failed
