# Customer Standing Orders
Managing Customer Standing Orders saves time by automating recurring orders, ensuring regular customer requirements are processed consistently and reducing the need for manual order entry.
**Customer Standing Orders** allow you to set up and manage recurring orders for customers in Supply’d. This helps automate regular ordering, ensuring customers receive their usual products on a consistent schedule without needing to place each order manually.
This document briefly explains the **Standing** tab on a customer's page.

## The Customer Standing Tab
The **Standing** tab on a customer’s page lists the standing orders associated with the customer, providing a central location to view and manage recurring orders and related information.
To view a customer’s standing orders:
1. Select **Customers** from the main menu.
2. Select a customer to open their details.
3. Select the **Standing** tab.

Standing Sales Order statuses will appear on the **Standing Sales Orders** list in various colours for easy identification.
* - The order is being prepared but not yet completed.
* - The order has been created.
* - The order is in the process of being modified.

Selecting a **Standing Order** will open its details. The way this information is displayed will vary depending on your **Sales Settings**. These are briefly described in the following section.

### Standing Order View Options
There are two ways to manage and view **Standing Orders**, depending on the option selected in **Standing Order Mode** field in the [Sales Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/sales-settings.md#standing-orders) section of your [Sales Settings](/supplyd-erp/settings/sales-settings.md) - **Individual Standing Orders** or **Weekly View**.

#### Individual Standing Orders
Each standing order is managed separately, similar to Sales Orders. This option is best suited for businesses that do not have frequent recurring orders for the same customer.

#### Weekly View
**Weekly View** displays standing orders in a weekly schedule, making it easier to manage frequent deliveries and different product variations. It also displays public and school holidays to assist with planning.
