# Customer Call Logs
Keeping Call Logs up to date provides a clear record of customer interactions, helping you track follow-ups, maintain continuity, and manage relationships more effectively.
**Call Logs** allow you to record and manage communication with your customers and suppliers, providing a centralised history of calls and follow-up activities. Keeping call logs up to date helps your team track conversations, follow up on important matters, and maintain a clear record of customer and supplier interactions.
This document explains how to view, add, edit, and manage **Customer Call Logs** in Supply’d.

## The Customer Call Logs Tab
The **Call Logs** tab on a customer’s page lists the calls, visits, and emails associated with the customer, providing a central record of your interactions and communication history.
To view a customer’s call logs:
1. Select **Customers** from the main menu.
2. Select a customer to open their details.
3. Select the **Call Logs** tab.

Customer Call Logs have colour-coded statuses for easy identification:
* - An email interaction with the customer.
* - A phone conversation with the customer.
* - An in-person visit with the customer.

Click on a **Call Log** to view the details of the interaction.
**Call Log Details**
Details relating to this **Call Log** - Customer, Location, Call Date and User.
**Notes**
Add any relevant notes or details from the call.

## Adding a Call Log

#### Click Add+
Click the button (first call only) or **Add+** in the top right.

The button will only show when no calls have been logged. For all additional entries, use **Add+**.

The **Add Call Log** form will open, allowing you to record details about a sales call or customer visit.

#### Complete the Form
Complete the fields as follows:
**Customer**
Automatically entered.
**Location**
Select the location of the call from the list of locations associated with this customer.
**Call Date\* \[required field]**
Select the call date and time. Clicking this field will open a calendar and time selector for you to choose from.
Click to set the chosen date and time.
**Call Type\* \[required field]**
Select the **Call Type** to record how the interaction took place: **Visit** for an in-person meeting, **Call** for a phone conversation, or **Email** for correspondence via email.
**User**
Select the name of the sales representative or person who made the call.

The name will be automatically pre-filled based on the logged-in sales representative, but different name can be selected from the list if needed.

**Next Call Date**
Clicking this field will open a calendar for you to select the next call date.
**Notes**
Add any notes taken from this call.
**Images**
Upload any photos applicable to this call.

Click to add the call.

### Editing a Call Log

Select the customer whose **Call Log** you would like to edit:
1. Select **Customers** from the main menu.
2. Select the customer.

Select the **Call Log** you would like to edit:
1. Go to the **Call Log** tab.
2. Select the log.

Click the 3 dots on the top right and select **Call Log.**
The **Edit Call Log** form will open.

Change any required details for the **Call Log**, following the guidelines for [#adding-a-call-log](#adding-a-call-log "mention") above.

Click to apply the changes.

### Removing a Call Log

Select the customer whose **Call Log** you would like to remove:
1. Select **Customers** from the main menu.
2. Select the customer.

Select the **Call Log** you would like to remove:
1. Go to the **Call Log** tab.
2. Select the **Call Log**.

Click the 3 dots on the top right and select **Remove Call Log.**
You will be asked to confirm.
