# Customer Specific Pricing
Customer-specific pricing allows you to set unique prices for individual customers or customer groups purchasing from a specific store, giving you flexibility to tailor deals, reward loyalty, or meet contract requirements. Instead of applying the same standard price list to everyone, you can assign special rates that automatically apply when that customer places an order. This makes managing agreements simple, reduces manual adjustments, and ensures accuracy at checkout.

In order to apply customer specific pricing to a single customer you will need to ensure you have added the customer (see the [Adding Customers, Leads & Customer Groups](/supplyd-erp/customers/adding-customers-leads-and-customer-groups.md) document) or the customer has placed an order with you in Supply'd already.

## Adding Customer Specific Pricing to an Individual Customer

#### Go to the Customers Page
Select **Customers** from the main menu. The **Customers** page will open, showing a list of all your customers.

#### Select the Customer
Select the customer you want to set specific pricing for.
The selected customer’s page will open, displaying all of their details.

#### Go to the Pricing Tab
The **Pricing** tab lists any customer-specific pricing that has been added for that customer, such as special discount.

#### Click Add Pricing or Add+
Click , or **Add +** in the top right corner.

The button will only appear if the customer does not already have specific pricing set.

The **Add Customer Pricing** form will open.

To open or close the sections on this form click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).

Complete the fields as per the guidelines below:

#### Store
Select which store this pricing is applicable to.

#### Adjustment
The type of adjustment and the amount to apply to the customer’s pricing.
**Adjustment Type\* \[required]**
Select the type of adjustment you would like to apply.
* **Discount %:** Discount by a percentage amount, eg. 10% off.\
* **Discount $:** Discount by a fixed dollar amount, eg. $5 off.
* **Increase %:** Increase by a percentage amount, eg. 10% increase.
* **Increase $:** Increase by a fixed dollar amount, eg. $5 increase.
* **Price Override:** Override the price to a new price, eg. $9.90.\
* **Discount % / Discount $ / Increase % / Increase $ / Price Override**\
This field will depend on what is selected in the **Adjustment Type** field. Enter either the percentage or dollar amount for the price increase or decrease, or a specific item price when **Price Override** is selected.

#### Apply Adjustment
Choose where the adjustment should be applied. This determines whether the pricing change applies to all products, specific categories, or individual items for that customer.
**Apply Adjustment To\* \[required]**
Select whether you want the adjustment to apply to **All Products**, **Specific Products**, **Specific Categories**, or only **Select Brands** for this customer.
* **Products**\
When **Specific Products** is selected, an extra fields - **Products** - will appear.\
\
Select the specific products to which you want to apply the price adjustment.
Clicking or typing in the field will display a list of your products to choose from.
* **Categories**\
When **Specific Categories** is selected, an extra fields - **Categories** - will appear.\
\
Select the categories to which you want to apply the price adjustment. Leave the field blank if you do not want to apply it to any categories.
Clicking or typing in the field will display a list of your categories to choose from.
* **Brands**\
When **Specific Brands** is selected, an extra fields - **Brands** - will appear.\
\
Select the brands to which you want to apply the price adjustment. Leave the field blank if you do not want to apply it to any brands.
Clicking or typing in the field will display a list of your brands to choose from.

#### Click Save
Click to add the pricing for this customer.
The customer Specific Pricing will be listed under the customer’s **Pricing** tab.

Any customer-specific pricing will also be applied to the customer's **Standing Sales Orders**.

Take care to avoid conflicting pricing rules, since the system will apply the first eligible rule in the list when you create a sales order. For example, if you have a 10% discount on all products listed before a 50% discount on selected items, the system will apply the 10% discount.

## Adding Customer Specific Pricing to a Customer Group
To apply customer specific pricing to a group of customers:

#### Go to the Groups Tab
Select **Customers** from the main menu, then click the **Groups** tab to see the list of your **Customer Groups**.

#### Select the Group
Select the group you would like to apply the specific pricing to.
The **Groups Members** page will open.

#### Go to the Pricing Tab
The **Pricing** tab lists any customer group specific pricing that has been added for that customer, such as special discount.

Click the button to add the pricing for this customer.
The customer group specific pricing will be listed under the group’s **Pricing** tab.

To remove a customer pricing:

Go to the **Pricing** tab and click on the discount you would like to remove.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right and select **Remove Pricing**. You will be asked to confirm.
