# Bulk Importing of Customers

Bulk importing customers in Supply’d allows you to quickly add or update multiple customer records at once, saving time compared to entering them individually. This feature is especially useful for onboarding large numbers of customers, updating contact details, or applying consistent settings and pricing across groups. By using a structured spreadsheet, you can ensure that all customer information - such as names, addresses, contact details, and account settings - is accurately and efficiently uploaded into the system, helping you maintain organised records and streamline your sales and customer management processes.

There are 2 ways to add customers to Supply'd:

1. Add customers one to Supply'd at a time.
2. Bulk import customers to Supply'd from 3 CSV templates.

{% hint style="success" %}
👉 See the [Adding Customers, Leads & Customer Groups](/supplyd-erp/customers/adding-customers-leads-and-customer-groups.md) document for instructions on how to add customers one at a time.
{% endhint %}

This document will take you through the steps to bulk import customers.

## **Bulk Import/Add Customers**

Supply’d makes it easy to import large numbers of customers from a spreadsheet. To ensure accurate data import, you need to use three specific templates:

* [#customer-data](#customer-data "mention") - Information such as the customer's name, logo, website, ABN, payment terms and methods, and sales rep.
* [#customer-locations](#customer-locations "mention") - Details about the customer's location.
* [#customer-contacts](#customer-contacts "mention") - Contact details for the customer.
