
Performing Deliveries as a Driver (Scanner)
As a delivery driver, using a handheld Supply'd scanner makes deliveries faster, more accurate, and keeps everything updated in real time.
As a driver, you will have only have access to delivery runs, and the deliveries within those runs, assigned to you on Supply'd.
This guide will walk you through how to perform deliveries using a handheld Supply’d scanner.

This document you will guide you through:
Home Page - My Deliveries
When you log in to Supply’d on the scanner, you’ll see the My Deliveries home screen. This shows the delivery runs assigned to you.

Each run displays:
Run Number: A unique identifying number.
Date: The date the delivery run is set to be preformed.
Vehicle: The vehicle to be used for the run.
Driver: The driver assigned to the run - you.
Delivered: How many deliveries delivered (if the run is in progress).
Status: Whether the run is scheduled, in progress or completed.
Delivery runs have colour-coded statuses to clearly show what stage they are at in the delivery process.
- An upcoming delivery run.
- The delivery run is being performed.
- The run has been completed.
Run Details
Clicking on a run will display all the details for that run.


To open or close the sections on this page, click the little arrows to the right of the titles (as circled in red above).
Scroll down to see the additional sections.
Status
Start and end times, along with how many deliveries were completed, failed, delivered on time, or delivered late.

Delivery Run Details
The start and end locations, assigned vehicle and driver, and the vehicle’s capacity.

Route
A map displaying the delivery run route, which can be enlarged for more detail.

Schedule
A list of deliveries in the run, in the optimised delivery order, showing order numbers, customer names, locations, the run number, and the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for each address.


Order Details
Clicking on a delivery will bring up all the details specific to the customer.

Status: Delivery Run number, ETA and Estimated Travel Time to the customers address.
Delivery Details: Shows the customer, their suburb or town, order number, assigned vehicle, delivery window, and any notes from the customer about the delivery.

Location: Shows the customer’s address along with a map and location details.


Performing a Delivery Run
Add POD & Deliver
After reviewing any special notes in the Delivery Details section, scan the order's QR Code and click .
The POD form will open.



Enter the name of the person receiving the delivery (clicking on the name field will open the keyboard) and ask them to provide their signature.

After the delivery is signed for, click .
The POD details will appear in the Proof of Delivery section, along with the date and time.



Alternatively, if the keyboard is open on the screen, you can tap the arrow in the blue circle at the bottom right to mark the order as delivered and move to the next screen.



Failed Deliveries
If for any reason the order was unable to be delivered, click Mark As Failed.



The Delivery Order Failed form will appear.



Reason* [required field]: Select the reason the delivery failed from the drop-down menu.



Additional Notes: Optionally, add any notes explaining why the delivery failed.

Additional Options - Scheduled Delivery Run
Before starting the delivery run (status is ), with the run selected, click the three dots in the top-right corner to open a menu with the following options:

Start Run
An alternative to the button in Step 2 above. Selecting this option will start the delivery run.
Edit Run
Allows limited changes to be made to the delivery run. Selecting this will open the Edit Delivery Run form.

Vehicle: Change the vehicle being used for the delivery run. Select the vehicle from the drop-down menu.
Driver: Change the driver for the delivery run. Select the new driver from the drop-down menu.
Start Location: Change the start location for the delivery run. Select from the drop-down menu or add a custom address, for example, if the driver is leaving from home.
End Location: Change the end location for the delivery run. Select from the drop-down, menu or add a custom address, for example, if the driver is ending the run at home.
Download > Delivery Run List
Allows the Delivery Run List to be downloaded for viewing, saving, or printing.

Toggle Full Screen
The page you are on will show in full screen.
Remove Run
Will remove the delivery run from your list. You will be asked to confirm.
Additional Options - Delivery Run Underway
After starting the delivery run (status is ), click the three dots in the top-right corner to open a menu with the following options for the order you are delivering:

Edit Delivery Order
Allows limited changes to be made to the delivery order. Selecting this will open the Edit Delivery Order form.

Delivery Notes
Add any delivery notes for the driver about this order.

Delivery Address
Change the delivery address from the address on the original order. Fields marked with an asterix (*) are required fields and must be completed.

Delivery Window
Change the delivery window start and end times.

Mark As > Arrived / Delivered / Failed

Alternative to the button used in Step 5 above.
Delivered
Alternative to the button in Step 6 above.
Failed
Alternative to Mark As Failed used in Step 6 above.
Download > Delivery Slip / Shipping Label / Pack Slip / Invoice

Remove Delivery Order
Removes the delivery order from the delivery run. You will be asked to confirm.
Additional Options - At Location
Once you have clicked the (status is
), the menu is the same as above without the "Arrived" option under Mark As:

Once the order has been delivered (status is ), there will only be one item in the menu:
