Smart Orders
Supply’d’s Smart Order takes the guesswork out of ordering by automatically calculating what you need based on real data - saving time, reducing waste, and keeping your stock levels just right.
Supply’d’s Smart Orders feature helps you order smarter and faster by using real-time data to calculate exactly what you need. It looks at things like current stock levels, past sales, and upcoming production to suggest accurate order quantities - saving you time, reducing over-ordering, and keeping your inventory in check.
Creating a Smart Order
To create a Smart Order, go to Orders in the main menu, then open the Purchases tab. Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Smart Order from the menu to get started.

The Smart Order form will appear.

Complete the fields as follows:
Suppliers
The suppliers you would like to make the Smart Order for. Clicking on, typing in, the field will bring up a list of your suppliers to select from.
Location
The location you would like to place the order for. Select from you list of Locations in the drop-down menu.
Method
The method you would like to use for the smart order.

Suggested: Utilise the smart suggestions for the order. Uses forecasted sales, minimum stock hold, stock on order, and current stock levels to keep you always in stock.
Minimum Stock Hold: Order to meet the minimum stock hold only. Ignores forecasted sales, will look at current stock level, stock on order then will top up to the minimum stock hold set for the product.
Refill Sold: Reorder the amount sold since the last order from this supplier was received.
It is best to set minimum stock levels under Product Settings (global level), but they can also be overridden at the individual product inventory level ( Minimum Stock Hold ) if needed.
Warehouse refill
When stock is available at a set refill warehouse, what is the action you would like to be done for that stock.

Create Transfer: Will create a transfer order for the stock required.
Don't Transfer: Consider the stock as available to not over order, but don't create a transfer order.
Ignore: Ignore any stock available at refill locations.
