# Change or revoke access

Reduce, change, pause or remove an AI client's access to Supply'd.

## Change the selected business areas

To choose a different set of Supply'd areas:

1. Disconnect Supply'd in your AI client's app or connector settings.
2. Add or reconnect `https://mcp.supplyd.co/`.
3. Sign in to Supply'd again.
4. Select the new access areas on the approval page.
5. Approve the connection.

Choosing more areas does not override your existing Supply'd user permissions.

## Pause access in one client

Disable Supply'd for the current conversation or disconnect the connector in that client's settings. This stops that client from using the connection.

## Revoke a Supply'd connection

Use the MCP connection-management area in Supply'd, when available for your account, to revoke an authorised client. You can also ask your Supply'd administrator or Supply'd Support to revoke it.

Revocation prevents the issued credentials from being used again. Disconnect the connector in the AI client as well so it no longer tries to reconnect.

## When a person's access changes

Normal Supply'd permission changes apply automatically. If a user leaves the company or should no longer have access, disable their Supply'd account and revoke their MCP connections as part of the same offboarding process.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.supplyd.co/mcp/manage-your-connection/change-or-revoke-access.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
