# Connect Claude and other clients

Connect Claude or another remote-MCP client to Supply'd ERP.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Supply'd MCP is a read-only private beta for invited Supply'd ERP customers. Standalone Hub and Lite accounts do not include MCP access.
{% endhint %}

## Claude

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

## Add the connector

For an individual account, open **Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector**.

For a managed organisation, an authorised owner first adds the connector under **Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Configure Supply'd

Name the connector **Supply'd** and enter `https://mcp.supplyd.co/`.

Continue and review the detected OAuth settings. Choose sign-in, not anonymous access. Where offered, use **Claude's published identity**. Do not add fixed credentials or your own OAuth client unless Supply'd provides them.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Sign in and enable

Connect with your Supply'd ERP account and approve the relevant business areas. Organisation members connect individually from **Customize → Connectors**.

In chat, open **+ → Connectors** and enable Supply'd.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Plan limits, roles and menu labels can change. See [Claude's current custom-connector guide](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-get-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp).

## Other compatible clients

| Setting            | Value                          |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------ |
| Transport          | Remote HTTP MCP                |
| Server URL         | `https://mcp.supplyd.co/`      |
| Authentication | OAuth with automatic discovery |
| Client credentials | Not normally required |
| Supply'd product | ERP with private beta access |

The client must support remote MCP, OAuth discovery, PKCE and the protected-resource flow. Local command-only MCP clients cannot connect directly to this hosted endpoint.

After connecting, ask for a small set of authorised records, such as your five most recent orders. Compatibility depends on the client's implementation and your selected access. See [Troubleshooting](/mcp/manage-your-connection/troubleshooting.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.supplyd.co/mcp/getting-started/connect-claude-and-other-clients.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
