# Supply'd MCP

Connect Supply'd ERP securely to an AI assistant using MCP.

Supply'd MCP lets Supply'd ERP customers ask an AI assistant about authorised business data in natural language. It is designed for questions such as:

* What did we sell this week compared with last week?
* Show me this product's recipe, stages, instructions and labour time.
* When was this product last produced?
* Which purchase-order items are still outstanding?
* What stock is available by warehouse, batch or expiry date?
* Which products does this customer usually order?

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Supply'd MCP is currently in private beta.** Access is available by invitation to selected Supply'd ERP customers. It is not available for standalone Supply'd Hub or Supply'd Lite accounts.
{% endhint %}

The connection is **read-only**. It cannot create, edit, approve, import, export or delete Supply'd ERP records.

{% hint style="info" %}
Use this live server address when creating a connection: `https://mcp.supplyd.co/`
{% endhint %}

## Usage cost

Each MCP server call uses **0.01 Supply'd usage tokens**. One AI question may make multiple calls as it searches for records and retrieves the information needed for the answer.

For example, 100 MCP server calls use 1 Supply'd usage token. See [Private beta availability and limits](/mcp/manage-your-connection/availability-and-beta-limitations.md) for details.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.supplyd.co/mcp/supplyd-mcp.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
